Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the INTERLAZA platform (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including instructors, parents, researchers, and institutional users.

Service Description

INTERLAZA is an adaptive match-to-sample (MTS) training platform designed for behavioral learning, suitable for learners from 18 months and up, including children with learning disabilities. It provides:

• Configurable match-to-sample exercises with errorless learning and stimulus fading
• Bayesian Knowledge Tracing (BKT) for adaptive difficulty
• Stimulus equivalence training and relational frame training
• Session data collection, mastery tracking, and progress reporting
• Tools for instructors, parents, and researchers working with children

The Service is provided as a web application accessible at interlaza.app and through any authorized distribution channels.

Account Tiers and Billing

INTERLAZA offers five account tiers:

• Free: Limited features; available as a fallback after trial expiration.
• Parent: 1 learner; clone and modify templates. €8/month.
• Professional: Up to 5 students; full analytics and BKT. €18/month.
• Researcher: Unlimited students; full control and raw data export. €60/month.
• Institution: Unlimited students; organizational management. Contact us for pricing.

Free trial: All paid tiers begin with a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel during the trial period at no cost. During the 7-day free trial, you have full access to all features of your selected tier. No payment information is required to start a trial. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, your account will automatically revert to the Free tier. Your data will not be deleted.

Billing: Subscriptions renew automatically. Annual subscriptions receive a 25% discount. Billing is handled by Stripe, our payment processor, and is subject to Stripe’s terms of service. Your payment information (card number, billing address) is processed and stored by Stripe — INTERLAZA does not store your payment card details.

Downgrades: Non-payment or cancellation results in a downgrade to the Free tier. Existing data is retained but access to paid features is restricted.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for clinical, educational, and research purposes consistent with its intended design. You must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access the Service.
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties.
• Use the Service to store or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

Intellectual Property

Our content: The INTERLAZA platform, including its source code, design, pictogram library, exercise templates, and all associated content, is owned by INTERLAZA and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your content: Program configurations, student profiles, session data, and custom content you create within the platform belong to you. You retain full ownership of all data you generate while using the Service.

License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your active subscription.

Content Licensing

Built-in content: The pictogram library, exercise templates, and pre-built pathways included with INTERLAZA are licensed for use within the platform only. You may not extract, redistribute, or use these assets outside of the INTERLAZA application.

AI-generated content: Pictograms and images created using AI tools for the INTERLAZA library are owned by INTERLAZA with full commercial rights.

User-generated content: Custom exercises, programs, student data, and uploaded images you create belong to you. You grant INTERLAZA a limited license to store and process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Open-source components: INTERLAZA uses open-source libraries subject to their respective licenses. A list of major dependencies is available in our public repository.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at interlaza.com/privacy. The Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your data, including our local-first architecture and optional cloud sync.

Clinical Disclaimer

INTERLAZA is a tool designed to assist qualified professionals and informed parents. It does not replace clinical judgment or professional expertise.

• Instructors are responsible for all treatment decisions, program design, and clinical outcomes.
• INTERLAZA does not provide clinical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.
• The platform is intended to support qualified practitioners in delivering evidence-based interventions, not to replace them.
• Users are responsible for ensuring their use of the platform complies with applicable professional standards and regulations in their jurisdiction.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some limitations above may not apply to you.

Termination

By you: You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time through the Settings menu. Upon cancellation, your account will revert to the Free tier at the end of the current billing period.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or the Service. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

Effect of termination: Upon termination, your license to use the Service ceases. Your locally-stored data remains on your device and can be exported before you close the application.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Stuttgart, Germany.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory consumer protections provided by the law of your country of residence. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/odr.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email.
